A successful sequel that needs a bit of a haircut.
I liked this, even though it is pretty different from The Rook. Maybe because it’s different? Nobody likes a re-tread. I accessorize for one and all
I steamed through the remaining books of The Parasol Protectorate series and then came to a screaching halt when it came time to write the reviews.
