Tell Me Everything by Sarah Enni

February 22, 2019 by scootsa1000 3 Comments

Last week, The Fug Girls had a book contest up on their site, and the book looked familiar to me. I almost always love the books that they recommend, so I wracked my brain trying to think of how I recognized this one…and then realized it was in my box of new releases for teen readers from work. I’m of two minds on this one. I get that I am not the demographic for this. There is a world of difference between YA fiction and […]

The Perfect Summertime Read

The Royal We is basically well-written alternate universe William Wales and Kate Middleton fanfiction. (That’s not an insult by the way. I’m very much pro-fanfiction and side-eye people who make fun of it. Some of the most famous white dude classic fiction is totally fanfiction.) I’m sure the real Will and Kate story would be a snooze compared to the Nick and Bex story. American Rebecca Porter meets Nick and his quirky cast of friends while studying abroad at Oxford. Slowly they become friends and […]

I love GFY and I am a fan of William and Kate, so this book was right up my alley. It’s cute and romantic and fun, probably more fun than the Spoiled books because I can pretend to be an adult while reading it. You can read my full review here.

I need Devour to become a real show on my television, people!

It seems very appropriate to post my review of the Fug Girls‘ most recent book (their baby, so to speak) on the same day that the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her second baby. This book starts the night before American Rebecca Porter is about to marry the heir to the British throne, as she’s trying not to freak out about the fact that she’s being blackmailed and her twin sister isn’t speaking to her at all. Cut to many years previous, when she […]
