There Isn’t an Adequate Title To Tell You How Much I Loathed this Book

The People Next Door by Keri Beevis

April 19, 2023 by Melina 8 Comments

First let me start by stating the title of the book…(glances at another tab), right, right…it’s The People Next Door. As I have been reading this book I’ve been exclaiming to my friends, “I really hate it!” and then they will ask what it’s called and I have given a general plethora of wrong names such as The Next Door Neighbors, Neighbors, The People Who Live Next Door and finally I just started calling it The People Vs. Larry Flint because that was the only title that I […]

Someone leaves dead animals on your doorstep? Call the police. You receive threatening emails from someone pretending to be your dead relative? Call […]

To my great surprise and delight, the dog lives!

May 24, 2017 by kfishgirl 1 Comment

So spoiler alert, there’s an awesome dog in this book, and he doesn’t die! To me, that is very important information to have when reading a book. If it’s not important to you, then I really don’t want to know you 😁. A dog dying in a book really sours the whole experience for me. This book is about a serial killer and rapist who everyone thinks is dead. However, obviously he’s not. His last victim survived months and months of rape and torture. She […]
