The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett

“Twoflower was a tourist, the first ever seen on the discworld. Tourist, Rincewind had decided, meant ‘idiot’.”

Cannonball Read Bingo Square: Series Setting foot inside Terry Pratchett’s Discworld has been a goal of mine, but I have (and continue to feel) intimidated by the undertaking. From my understanding, you can start wherever because although the books are all in the same universe, there aren’t traditional sequels or one linear arc to the story, so they don’t have to be read in a particular order. Huzzah! Books, my favorite!

First off, I love getting mail. Even better is mail with books inside that I’ve ordered. However, I have to say surprise book gifts take the cake. And my birthday isn’t even here yet 🙂 Thanks Bonnie for sending me my first Terry Pratchett book. And I’ve been wanting that Amy Poehler book ever since I saw her at BookCon. She is simply delightful.   Also hat tip to Katie (faintingviolet) for organizing and your holiday card.
