We received a lovely thank you note from our contact at the American Cancer Society, thanking us for our donations last year. Thanks to two matching donations at the end of the year, Cannonball Read donated $1,080 to ACS in 2021, which brings our total donation to ACS to $9,655. A HUGE thank you to Nate Haas for my wonderful books! He not only picked great reads for me (the Atkinson in particular I’ve wanted my hands on for ages), but included a super cute magnet and Oscar Wilde quotation card. And Nate – the haiku you wrote was adorable, not offensive – it takes a lot more than that to make me uncomfortable! 🙂
