The Hollow Places is an atmospheric and spooky novel, but not outright terrifying. The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher. I really enjoyed this. I read one of the author’s other horror novels The Twisted Ones last year and really enjoyed that one until the end, but then it sort of lost me a little bit. But this one? This is very readable and I’m glad I picked it up randomly at Barnes & Noble, but it didn’t live up to my hopes. I enjoyed Paladin’s Grace so much that I figured I’d see how Kingfisher did at horror.
