October monthly stat round-up!

November 10, 2016 by ingres77 3 Comments

I’m not going to lie, I slacked off a lot on this towards the end of the month, and was having a hell of a time playing catch-up pre-election. I used the shock and dismay after last night to power through the last few days of reviews. Anyway. I’m going to start doing something different, going forward. It can be pretty time consuming organizing all this information, so I think I’m going to stop updating the yearly information every month, and instead make one culminating […]

September Stat Round-Up!

October 4, 2016 by ingres77 4 Comments

My most recent addition to the database is the birth year for each author (when available). I want to see the age at which authors are publishing their books. I just started doing this a few days ago, though, so I don’t have that information for most books. Look for it next month. September stats: 226 reviews (-29% from last month) Average rating: 3.61 stars (-1.4%) Most popular book: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (4 reviews; 4.25 avg) Most popular author: Eric Van Lustbader […]

Okay, I did a good job this month keeping up to date with the Goodreads information on all the reviews. Monthly stat round-up!

July 2, 2016 by ingres77 13 Comments

I’ve been compiling our CBR reviews over the last several months, building a database of all the reviews we’ve written over the last three years. These stats have been posted to the Facebook page at the beginning of every month, but mswas suggested I share them here. So, going forward, this’ll be a monthly post. June stats: 252 reviews Average rating: 3.54 stars Most popular book: Doomsday Book (7 reviews; for two straight months!) Most popular author: Connie Willis (7 reviews) Most reviews: badkittyuno (back […]
