I was looking for another good audiobook and saw Yearbook by Seth Rogen on NPR’s Best Books List of 2021. I’ve found that comedians write very entertaining memoirs, and they are often even better audiobooks–especially when they read it themselves. Seth Rogan’s book was no different. Best for: Fans of Seth Rogen. Fans for humorous memoirs in general. In a nutshell: Actor, writer, and apparently former stand-up comedian (?) Gateway: into one of the only non-fiction genres I read, “memoirs written by comedic writers.” This is a great one to start with, seeing as how there’s more understanding and context to Rogen’s adventures than some of the older memoirs that might not have aged 100% well.
