I reviewed each of these books independently on my blog. The sequel reviews will contain spoilers for the priors. Overall, I give the series three stars. First published in 1960, A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr. is considered a somewhat of a classic of post-apocalyptic science fiction. In the aftermath of an alien invasion, one girl and the child she rescues must live an entirely silent life to avoid detection. At least until they are discovered by a scientific enclave that changes everything. It was entertaining, I liked the investigation into the beginnings of dystopia, and there were some bits that were unique.
