“Oh my God. My fantasy crush is a gynecologist. My gynecologist.”

Wrong by Jana Aston

That’s it: that title is the whole book.  Um.  I just… this book.  I don’t even know? Hot guy comes into a girl’s work for coffee all the time. She gets a crush on him.  Then she goes to the gynecologist, and guess what? or more Guess who? “I can reschedule you with another clinic doctor if you’re not comfortable, Sophie.” I’m not comfortable but I blurt out, “I’m fine!” Admitting I’m uncomfortable would be even more uncomfortable. Boyd, in the way of romance heroes, is amused by how awkward Chloe is because Chloe is also quite hot (yet unaware of this, […]

Wrong on so, so many levels

October 26, 2015 by katie71483 4 Comments

I just read a terrible romance where the heroine is a senior at Penn, the hero is a 40-ish doctor who stops in at the coffee shop where she works once a week. He turns out to be an ob/gyn who volunteers at the university’s clinic once a week. Want to guess who her random doctor is when she goes in for birth control? Or who turns out to be a heiress and illegitimate daughter of a now deceased US Senator? Or who winds up […]
