A book that does what it set out to do.

I know that’s a very vague title, but it’s weird to call this book great when it’s so tragic. It wasn’t great, but it was effective. I had a very hard time putting it down. Twister is a lot less fun in real life

I’ve always been fascinated with natural disasters, tornadoes in particular. I’ve lived my whole life in north Texas, in an area that sees a lot of impressive thunderstorms and tornado warnings, but rarely any actual tornadoes (although that insane F4 that hit Garland, Texas last Christmas was only about 15 miles from my house).
