I didn’t quite like this novella as much as everyone else seems to, but it definitely proves Courtney Milan hasn’t lost her touch with historical romance, after the disappointing first outing in this series. Oh, Ms. Milan… when it comes to romance novellas you are the cream of the crop. I have not read the first book in this series yet, Once Upon a Marquess, but that doesn’t matter here.
