Harleen is part of DC’s newish Black Label comics. I enjoy the DC Super Hero Girls series. It’s a fun entry point for younger readers ready to move up to chapter books, populated with friendly versions of popular superhero characters. My daughter (8) is not really a reader, but she gets very excited about these books. The bad guys aren’t terribly scary, which works well for my sensitive kiddo.
