Somehow I end up reading a lot of books where one of the main characters is gaslighted a lot.  I’m totally not into that in real life, but apparently I’m into reading about it?  Is there something wrong with me?  I guess I’ll have to discuss that with my therapist.  Note to self: get therapist. Anyway, our intrepid hero Liam is a forensic crime scene technician, and he’s called to a scene that scares him one day.  It’s a woman he was having an affair […]

Review #1: Nothing to Lose.  This is book two in the Ziba MacKenzie series. Ziba’s a profiler helping out the cops in London.  She’s called to the scene of a murder of a woman.  There was apparently another woman killed there just over a week prior, and they both somehow look like Ziba. She’s not one to freak out, but she’s a little unnerved. She’s also secretly investigating her husband’s murder, and someone or multiple someones are starting to catch on.  Ziba found a flash […]

Something’s afoot on the fjords

January 20, 2017 by kfishgirl Leave a Comment

So once again, I can’t remember how I got onto this book, but I feel like someone recommended it to me. I put it on hold at my library like 4 months ago, and there were 52 people ahead of me. I finally just got it last weekend. At my library, you can’t renew books that have holds on them, so I knew I only had two weeks to read this one. It only took me 3 days. And if I started earlier on day […]
