My favorite of the Emelan books.

Joe Hill delivers a super creepy fantasy horror comic.
Okay, so I liked this! It was creepy but not scary, and it was intriguing without being overly complicated. I liked the art overall, and the coloring struck just the right balance between bright colors and the darker tones you would need to connote creepy and scary. Be prepared for a very flawed heroine with this one.
Oh, man. This was agony. It ended really well, but the process of getting there was SO STRESSFUL.
