The Aeronaut’s Windlass by Jim Butcher is the start to a new fantasy series. No other books in this series are out yet, but I’m sure there’s gonna be at least a couple more. I have never read Jim Butcher before, and I’ve had mixed luck with things that Patrick Rothfuss recommends. I decided to take a chance with The Aeronaut’s Windlass, and I liked a lot about this book. It has a good story, an interesting world, some relatable characters, and the possibility to be a really good fantasy series.
