CBR Bingo- Asia/Oceana- BINGO! Where the Wild Ladies Are is a collection of Japanese folk tales retold with a feminist point of view. Written in 1993 and set in 2025, The Parable of the Sower is a frighteningly plausible story about a world impacted by climate change, political breakdown and economic and social inequity. CBR Bingo, Edibles Arsenic and Adobo was a Cannonball book review choice, but I couldn’t get it from the library until after the discussion passed.
