I was delighted to receive this book as one of my Cannonball Read 6 book exchange gifts. This book was recommended by members an old book club many moons ago, and it’s been on my mind ever sense (I confess, I was enamored by the title.) CBR Book Exchange
My book exchange gifts arrived today. Eep!! Thanks so much, Jo for two things that have been percolating in my Goodreads. (The other book is “It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time: My Advdntures in Life and Food.”) I know what I’ll be tackling first in Cannonball 7!!
Huzzah! Books, my favorite!
First off, I love getting mail. Even better is mail with books inside that I’ve ordered. However, I have to say surprise book gifts take the cake. And my birthday isn’t even here yet 🙂 Thanks Bonnie for sending me my first Terry Pratchett book. And I’ve been wanting that Amy Poehler book ever since I saw her at BookCon. She is simply delightful. Also hat tip to Katie (faintingviolet) for organizing and your holiday card.
