Still No Recommended Reads from the Brooklyn Bruisers Series

Hard Hitter by Sarina Bowen

February 7, 2017 by Mrs. Julien 5 Comments

Sarina Bowen burst into my romance reading life in 2015 with her Ivy Years series and my discovery happily coincided with her career taking off. This has provided me with lots of reading material. Though none of her more recent books have captured the magic of those first ones I read (Blonde Date is a perfect novella), I am continuing to buy her books; however as the prices have gone up, my interest has gone down. Solid, Mediocre Sports Romance

January 12, 2017 by Ellepkay 4 Comments

This is the first book in the Brooklyn Bruisers series, and came out Fall 2016.  Bowen has stuck with hockey, but moved on to the NHL from college stories.  I never finished the Ivy Years series, but apparently this hero is the older brother of the hero in The Fifteenth Minute (which I will NEVER read based on the reviews and BethEllen’s warnings). Georgia Worthington is the interim PR head for the Brooklyn Bruisers, an NHL team.  On the same day that it is announced […]
