Alexis made my day–TWICE! I got two beautiful packages from her on two different days: one with The Night Circus and In the Night Garden, and the other with Lonesome Dove and a beautiful card. I’m so excited to have THREE books to get me started on CBR10! Lonesome Dove has languished on my TBR list for years. Thank you, Alexis!
Thank you, Bunnybean!!
Thank you so much to Bunnybean for these books. I’m very excited to read both of them! One I’ve been eyeing for months (I squealed when I saw The Whole Art of Detection–I’m really on a Sherlock Holmes kick right now, which is a bit of an understatement, actually), and one was a happy surprise. Who can say no to Pride & Prejudice plus dragons? Not me. This book exchange is the best tradition.

Book Exchange!!
My exchange buddy came through super fast! My posting of this didn’t, but here it ihttp://imgur.com/VKmnRLz Thanks mystery friend!! I am totally working to read my books written by people of color, so Kindred is a super dope gift. Here’s a tiny secret – I’m not a Gaiman fan. I’m sure I’ll enjoy this! Don’t feel bad, it’ll be great. I prefer his stuff for younger readers in any case. And I love his graphic novels. Sandman is awesome. Happy Holidays y’all!
Books are the best gifts!
Many thanks to Malin for spoiling me this year. So excited to have a hardcopy of The Hating Game which I read and loved earlier this year (I’m so behind on reviews ya’ll). It’s a book I know I’ll be rereading whenever I need a pick-me-up. Fingersmith and The Princess Bride have been on my to be read list for literally ages so I’m thrilled to get my hands on those for 2017. Thanks again!
