Thank you, CoffeeShopReader!

Thank you for the wonderful package of goodies!  The second half of 2024 has required lighter reading, with romance and cozy vibes.  I’m looking forward to continuing that trend with a YA sapphic romance that features mystical creatures.  The journal is adorable and my puzzle loving 16 year old has already made off with the fidget puzzle.  I look forward to trying the various warm drinks while reading. It also gave me the chance to use a personalized book embosser that I was just gifted:)

Thank you to my mystery gifter for this book and (super cute!) bookmark. There wasn’t a name on it, so if it was you, please let me know so I can thank you properly!

Thank you Pooja for this amazing holiday gift. I can’t wait to read!!! I am not familiar with Goblin Market, so this will be a real treat.  (And if I’ve already posted, sorry, I have a memory like a cheap Swiss Cheese!

Thank you, BlackRaven!

December 5, 2024 by narfna 2 Comments

I came home last night after a pretty yucky day to a lovely surprise from what I presume is BlackRaven’s local bookstore. She sent me a Julie Andrews novel I’ve been wanting to read forever (Mandy is one of my all-time favorite children’s books), and a book that I put on my TBR because of CBR! If You Can’t Take the Heat by Geraldine DeRuiter. Seems like a great time for that one, TBH. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get to these, […]

November 13, 2024 by Emmalita 2 Comments

The Holiday Book Exchange is closed! Each year Cannonball Read holds a (completely voluntary) Holiday Book Exchange, and we’re happy to continue the tradition this year. It’s a lovely part of our community here at CBR and a great way to get to know a fellow Cannonballer a little bit better. If you are able to join us in the fun of sending books we are excited for you to join our bookish end of year celebration. Whether you have posted zero reviews or more […]
