This was such a mixed bag of a reading experience. Honestly, though, I figured it might be. I’ve read a couple of Shannon Hale’s adult novels before this, and neither of them worked for me. I came home from a poop day at work to a book exchange package from Katie (faintingviolet) and it made my day. I legit squealed when I opened the first book and saw Wishful Drinking. And I’ve been meaning to read Austenland and start Sandman for yearrrrs. (Although, I will confess that I’m actually super intimidated to start Sandman.) Thank you so much, Katie!
