Episode 1-40: Surprise! I Only Finished One Book This Week

October 25, 2018 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2018/10/26/episode-1-40-surprise-i-only-finished-one-book-this-week/ Wherein I review: 149. H.M.S. Surprise (Aubrey & Maturin #3) by Patrick O’Brian There’s a reason these are the swashbuckling standards.  I keep on sailing through, but wasn’t swift enough to knock out the last few books.  And I’m still dangling on the precipice of 700 books on the Kindle. Waily, waily, waily.

Episode 1-38: I Punched Satan!

October 9, 2018 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2018/10/10/episode-1-38-i-punched-satan/ Wherein I review: 144. The Fall of the House of Cabal (Johannes Cabal #5) by Jonathan L. Howard 145. Post Captain (Aubrey & Maturin #2) by Patrick O’Brian I bid adieu (temporarily, dark forces willing) to my favorite necromancer and I continue the swashbuckling seafaring adventures of Captain Jack and his doctor pals.  And I continue to bust through two other wonderful but long books.
