This is the fourth book in the Gideon and Sirius series. I believe I’ve read all four of them in this current Cannonball. After reading to the end, the author said he’s got at least two more books in the works. Hopefully I’ll get to read and review them for CBR11! In this book, Gideon ends up working about three cases at once. They all kind of sneak up on him while he’s going about his life. He’s volunteering at Angie’s Rescue (or Heather’s Rescue, […]
Gideon and Sirius find a lost dog… but is the human lost too?
This is the final book in the Gideon and Sirius series. As I noted in my earlier G&S reviews, I love Sirius. Obviously he’s my favorite character. Gideon is OK, especially because of the way he treats all dogs. I don’t remember how this book actually started, but the action really began one night when Sirius heard a dog outside in trouble. Sirius woke up Gideon and basically dragged him outside to see what was wrong with the dog. She had been attacked by a […]
More Gideon and Sirius – and Sirius lives through the whole book!
So this is book two of the Gideon and Sirius series. Sirius is again one of the two main characters, and he’s just as lovable as in the first book. Gideon’s ok too. He’s a little childish, but I don’t find him that annoying. I read a few Goodreads reviews for these books, and a lot of people noted that Gideon’s constant puns and joking around are annoying. I’m a big fan of puns. My dad’s a big punner (made up word), so that endears […]
The dog lives again!
I apparently borrowed this book from Amazon Kindle Unlimited over a year ago. That fact does not reflect the quality of the book. Sometimes I just go on book-borrowing rampages Aaaaanyway… This is book one of the Gideon and Sirius series. Gideon is the man (a cop), and Sirius is the dog (also a cop). When I was first looking to read this book, I asked a question on Goodreads to make sure Sirius didn’t die. I figured that since it was the Gideon and […]
