A lovely package arrived on my doorstep last Tuesday and I wanted to tear it open right away. However, as a community college professor halfway through finals week with a pile of portfolios and final projects to respond to and with a bad case of “Is it break yet?” procrastination looming, I decided to use the gift from Yesknopemaybe as motivation. Get your Comp 1 grades in, and you can open the box! It worked! I got the grades in and was delighted to discover […]
Thanks, Loubear!
Thank you, Loubear! (And mom scootsa1000!) These two have been on my TBR list for a while now, so I’m excited for the chance to read them! I do have a pile of Pride and Prejudice spinoff books, so maybe I’ll try to read and review them all…
Thank you, Alexis!
The first time I read The Princess Bride was in 2010 as an ebook on a small 1st generation smartphone during my down time at work. I had grown up with the movie, and as with most people, could quote it in its entirety. I can’t wait to re-read this favorite of mine. But instead of small […]

Thank you, KatSings!
Thank you, whoever my Book Exchanger is! Neither of these was on my radar, and both of them sound awesome. I have to decide which one I want to start on my plane ride home for the holidays. I can’t wait to get started on them! Thanks oodles! UPDATE! Part 2 has arrived, with a bookmark (from The Strand, ooh aah!) and a lovely card from KatSings. Thank you, Katie!
Thank you, mathildehoeg!!!
It has been a long semester (case in point: I’m 50 reviews behind, and am currently typing this on my phone at the dealership, because my husband’s trusty car has finally given up the ghost). So thanks to magical Christmas elf mathildehoeg for impeccable timing and beautiful gifts. I look forward to reading both books (the authors are both on my TBR list) and coloring in the activity book–how did you know I love to color??? Thank you, mathildehoeg!!!!
