This is the fourth book in the Johannes Cabal series, and the only one that uses its main character sparingly. I loved the first three Cabal novels, particularly Johannes Cabal the Detective, which is the second one. It’s so funny, as I’m reading this series for the first time, to see the (very) polarizing opinions about each book. Oh, my! I wish I were skilled enough to review this in Seussian meter. It really does get everything so right.
