I had a hard time with Stephen King’s Dark Tower II book, The Drawing of the Three. His depiction of one of the Black characters really bothered me. A while back, I found Forsynthia V01: Rise of the Cupcakes  by Rachel DiNunzio in an online reader copy. I was blown away.
