KB's Reviews:

An intriguing look into a serial criminal.

October 23, 2018 by KB Leave a Comment

This book is a fascinating look at a serial rapist turned murderer. This book analyses the East Area Rapist (EAR), a man who committed more than 50 rapes and killed over 10 people in the state of California from 1974-1986. The chapters vary between re-enactments of certain cases in the different areas, responses from police, ongoing investigations into the crimes from retired police officers to online amateur investigators, and a brief look into Michelle and her present life whilst investigating and writing this book. It […]

Want the best financial future for your kids?

October 12, 2018 by KB Leave a Comment

I loved this book. That is an odd sentence to say about essential a financial help book. However this book is great for a number of reasons. Firstly the content. This book provides advice for helping your children to become financially savvy. It provides guidelines for preparing them to be financially independent when they leave home and in a position to buy their first house. Scott provides a very easy method to follow in order to achieve this. You do not need to have […]

Ready to be inspired?

October 12, 2018 by KB Leave a Comment

I absolutely loved this book! It is so much better than the second one in this series, ‘Me After You’, and possibly equal with the first, ‘Me Before You’. I found this book to be better than the second one for two main reasons. Firstly it put the focus back onto Lou and her quest for enjoyment, life fulfilment and love. Secondly it is set in NYC which is my most favourite place in the world. This book follows Lou who becomes a personal […]

Erika Foster – a fabulous leading lady.

September 30, 2018 by KB Leave a Comment

This is book two of the Erika Foster series. I don’t feel that I can say that Robert Bryndza is fast becoming my new favourite thriller author, as I believe I have said that at least times this year about other authors I have discovered. So instead I will say that Erika Foster is by far one of my favourite leading female characters. Where to begin with Erika…. As a character, she is great, and as a female character, she is brilliant. I love how […]

Oh hi readers.

If you are like me and loved “The Room” then this is a must read. For anyone not familiar with “The Room” it is by far the best worst movie ever made. It is absolutely horrendous. Every scene has you questioning what is going on, or why certain things are happening, as well as laughing at the horrendous dialogue and appalling acting. This can lead you on a quest to find out more about Tommy Wiseau – the guy who created, wrote, directed, produced, financed […]

What’s the worst secret you have?

September 30, 2018 by KB Leave a Comment

Wow!!  What a book! I am going to start by giving this book 5 stars, but I’m also going to give a warning. Although I thought this book was fabulous, it is possibly not a great book to read if you are sensitive about pregnancies, infertility and/or babies. This book is going to be tricky to review without giving anything away, so apologies for being a bit vague, however any plot detail will be a spoiler alert, so very briefly, this story is about […]
