Oh no. I feel terrible for saying this because I really love the 1st book so much, but this was just awful. Also this is not a romance, this is women’s fiction. Last Girl Ghosted by Lisa Unger
This was just not good. I don’t want to have spoilers in the full review, but it was far-fetched and absurd. The book also drags beyond belief. Unger also weirdly includes the beginnings of COVID-19, then doesn’t follow up with it at all in the end. At least I don’t think she did.
