Many moons ago I took part in Cannonball Read II, under the name Teabelly. A lot has changed since then, and I now have five year old twin girls. I'm not getting as much reading done, but I'm hoping to make a half Cannonball at least.

Aviva Grossman is a young woman interning for a congressman when they begin an affair. He’s almost as old as her parents and married. It’s the early days of the internet and she keeps an anonymous blog about it, with seemingly few readers. But after an incident brings to light the possibility of their relationship the blog is found and Aviva is torn apart by the media. The congressman, of course, comes out relatively unscathed. Unable to find work after becoming horrendously Google-able, Aviva changes […]

17 year old Ginny receives a package of envelopes from her estranged Aunt Peg, the first letter instructing her to get on a plane to London and to not read any of the other letters until she has completed the task set in the previous one. March 21, 2018 by Carriejay 2 Comments

Karou’s family is gone. The chimaera have been decimated. The city of Loramendi has fallen. Lost in her grief, Karou meets up with Thiago, the son of the Warlord who commanded the chimaera troops. In her past life as Madrigal, which she now […]

It’ll be the starting point of a grand summer adventure of travel and amazing food, and the chance to meet all his friends and family. What Nick hasn’t told Rachel is that his family is rich. Don’t read this when you’re home alone!

In the 1970s, the East Area Rapist terrorised California by committing 50 rapes. His crimes had escalated from peeping to burglary until he began threatening women, tying them up and attacking them. They escalated again when he chose victims whose male partners were present. Later, after his crimes took a deadlier turn when he murdered twelve people, he was known as the Original Night Stalker. McNamara coins her own name for him, The Golden State Killer. Putting together decades of history in a readable, easy […]
