This is an all-nighter kind of book, very entertaining. About one third in it began to feel a lot like Gone Girl, except the story goes much faster, every character is dubious and everyone is even more twisted, if that’s possible. Great book, but I feel I read it at the wrong time. Synopsis: Offred is a sex slave, pretty much. She tells her story as a Handmaid, a live-in mistress of sorts for high-level Commanders whose Wives are unable to bear children.
