In which we find out what happens when the most legendary (in his own mind) werewolf in all the land is set up on a series of blind dates.

Asil is perfectly content living a reclusive life tending to his flowers. When a Concerned Friend sends him an e-mail informing him that he has been set up on five dates through various websites over the next three weeks, Asil takes it in stride. Who wouldn’t want to spend a delightful evening with all of his fabulousness? The rules for the dates are set, gorgeous outfits picked out, and the rest of the pack has placed their bets. Will Asil make it through all of the dates without catastrophe? It would take a Christmas miracle.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Asil whenever he pops up. His ego is amusingly out of control but as we see here he can back it up if he needs to. It’s so hard being great! This is a novel told in stories, three previously published and two new though all were new to me. They’re just put together here with the machinations of Asil’s Concerned Friend. You do get to find out who that is by the end and I was delighted, they deserve some fun as much as Asil does.
This was a fun little snack to whet the appetite while we wait for the next Alpha and Omega book. It does feel like larger forces are stirring…
