I ended last year’s Cannonball with Assistant to the Villain so I think it’s quite appropriate that my hold for the second book in this fabulous series came in just in time for this one. I’ll try to keep it as non-spoilery as possible but get ready for more wacky hijinks!

Now having said that the first book did end on a big ol cliffhanger that really almost killed me having to wait a whole year to find out what happens. You’ll be pleased to hear that it is resolved right away, though at first I was so confused thinking I had missed something or didn’t remember very important events. Fear not, stick with it and all will be revealed. That was probably my only real quibble with this book and it’s a small one cleared up quickly.
Geez, trying to do this without any clues is tough! The gang’s all here and working together better than ever. We learn more about Becky the amazing HR manager and get a few more hints as to Kingsley the frog’s past identity. There are even a few new friends (and enemies!) along the way. It’s very funny and very sweet and I loved it a lot.
So kindly please read this immediately so we can all be miserable waiting for Accomplice to the Villain together!
