She needs a new place to live and he just happens to have some extra space. Forced proximity never leads to romantic shenanigans! I’m sure they’ll be respectful roommates who barely see each but always clean the bathroom. Just kidding, that’s probably a step too far into fantasy.

Here we have the story of the last Maxwell triplet, Olive. Olive is a college professor who leaves the wild magical hi-jinks to her sisters in favor of a more low key life. When she assigns her students a list designed to dare them to get out of their comfort zones, demure Olive decides that her boundaries could use a little pushing as well. Luckily her gorgeous new roommate Bax Donovan is interested in helping her to complete her dares. He’s been assigned as her secret Guardian Angel to protect her from an unknown danger heading in Olive’s direction. But who is going to protect their hearts?
This third entry in Asher’s Supernatural Singles series is just as cute as the first two. I was excited to see where bookish Olive’s story would take her and Bax. Both need to take a step out of their expected lives- Olive with being predictable to the point of being boring and Bax in a job that he is expected to do but which is not his true passion. There aren’t any giant crazy twists here but it is very nice to follow their journey together. Well deserved happy endings for all!
Now bring on Harper the succubus’ story! And maybe that grumpy vampire bartender too, I like his style.
