This was hilarious. This is a re-release of a book that came out in 2001. I have seen books by Shari Low for a while now, but haven’t been too enamored by the samples. But this was the first one I read that had me cracking up and deciding to read the whole thing. I loved the craziness of Carly Cooper and her friends. I also loved the messed up relationships she keeps getting in and out of (sometimes badly) over the course of several years. The main reason why I didn’t give this a whole 5 stars is that the ending was a little rushed and also the reason behind Cooper (as she’s mostly known) deciding to get married was just out of nowhere I felt. I didn’t mind that too much because her remembering her past as she tracks down her exes made for an entertaining read. I will say that for fans of the first book, you may want to skip the sequel that came out in 2020. It is not a romance. And it was a letdown.
