I have read one other collection of the Loud House family. This time, I found The Loud House #13: Lucy Rolls the Dice in an online format from Papercutz. This company publishes
graphic novels such as the Smurfs, Magical History Tour, and a few others I have reviewed here, does a lovely perk in their newsletter where you can get one free read online per newsletter. It is a great way for me to find the Nickelodeon/Nick at Night looking comics of the Loud family. I would not want to own a copy, but I know that kids ages 8 to 12 would appreciate the humor and off beat antics of the 11 siblings, their friends, family, and pets as they have fun in sometimes relatable and sometimes “um…okay that happened” situations.
This time, the “Loud House Creative Team” (multiple authors and illustrations) put together several comics about the Loud Family and their adventures with Orcs, Horks, Wizards and Pork, a D&D like game. And of course, even this role-playing game, which should be nice and relaxing gets them into all sorts of mischief,
mayhem, and of course, fun. Not to mention there are rumors fly out of control, sisters and brothers who help each other when they can (even if one likes to do the occasional experiment on them) and the diapers are on overload doodie!
Yes, things can get “raunchy” at times (as mentioned, several diaper/poop situations happen) but also things are a simple silly humor that shows modern sensibilities with the tone of each chapter. The art is cartoonish and clever. There are minimal, but what is needed details. The colors are pop off the page bold. And I enjoyed the introduction of some new characters (some stereotypical Goth looking kids who have one member, Boris, who speaks of themselves in the third 
person), and their suspiciously familiar looks. And of course, to come back to a few old friends (though this is only our second meeting) was nice too.
