It’s #GivingTuesday, a day where we can recover from all the crazy spending and shopping after Thanksgiving and see where we can give back and make a difference. Normally at this time of year, I’d ask for help to keep this place running. But thanks to a donation in September from Eric and Tamara Yollick, our website hosting has been paid for through Cannonball Read 9! This is what the message with their donation said:
We enjoy reading the reviews on your site. We have two cancer survivors in our family and we just wanted to say thank you.
After a couple more emails, I asked them how they had heard of us and if we could follow/support them on social media.
I found your site by accident while I was searching for book reviews. We currently don’t have any set-up online that you could follow. We just really like to support sites like yours.
So this year, any funds you can send our way will only contribute to make this year’s donation even bigger! We’ve already given $675, the largest amount we’ve ever raised, and I can see a four digit number in our future, can you? You can also make other purchases to support our mission at any time of the year.
