Being a Christian is much harder than Fox News tells you.

You know how I said we weren’t done with Zachary Grey? Yeah, we’re not done with Zachary Grey. WHY DOES MADELEINE L’ENGLE RETURN TO HIM? Was her readership in desperate need of a “bad boy” to swoon over and so she kept him in her books? Did she genuinely love him and keep him in her books? Why is he here? Constantly? Alas, these are the questions that will continue to plague me after I’ve finished reading. I *think* I get why Zachary exists in this book now, but his purpose in the other books is still a mystery to me. Read my full review, which, I warn you, is full of some caps-lock SHOUTING at Zachary and the *actual* difficulties of being a Christian (and no, it’s not gay marriage and liberal agendas that make it hard. That’s what she said).
