In preparation for The Broken Eye (the third book in the Lightbringer series) I wanted to re-read The Black Prism and The Blinding Knife. This series takes place in a world where some people (‘drafters’) have the ability to make colors solid. After some major losses in the first book, things don’t go well for our heroes in this book. Needless to say I love this series (as I rarely read books twice), I give this book 4 stars.
