This series was heavily reviewed on Cannonball last year. I did read the sample, but it didn’t pull me in. My book club had this listed as an option for our second book, so I figure I’d give it a chance. Despite a very interesting premise, reading this book felt like walking up 148 flights of stairs. I give this book 3 stars.
